Last year when I bought my Promaster it sucked in the snow, so I had winter tires put on it, and it was awesome after that. Fast forward to today and I had to learn to put my tire cables on in about 17" of fresh powder on top of 5' of snow from the week before. What I didn't factor in was that when I added my equipment to the rear it drastically reduced my traction.

I was pretty unprepared for this and I think today was one of my top 10 times of being cold, and I've spent a lifetime outdoors in the cold.

I'm in my hot tub now soaking it all in and headed for my sauna after this, but just a friendly reminder to stay prepared, don't let your guard down, and practice putting on tire chains or cables before you actually need them.

V bar chains are the ONLY way to fly in deep snow, or on ice when loaded to the 9’s..

I blew 2 sets of cables before learning that..

I’m so glad old man winter has finally decided to go back to sleep…

Nighty night, you old ornery BASTARD!!!!

Amazing. Especially after the most mild winter I ever known, and just rolled into spring in the 60 degrees. Maybe we get a late freeze?
