I must say the Killdeers are back to their lunacy this year though.
any bUrd that lays an egg in my drive, shouldn't be breeding anyway.
I won't loose any sleep over scrambled eggs either.
I look at it as natural selection...I prevented some Killdeers from being born with the "stupid gene" their momma possessed .....


The ones on back acre I'll avoid "IF" I see them while mowing.
I see the momma Killdeer doing that broken wing walk when i cruise by, so i know her nest is on the ground somewhere.
Be damned if I've seen it though
