I had a painful setback from some recent surgery and couldn't go out to dinner last night.

Mikey, Bob Vawter, Larry Capitoni, Lee Stockwell, Mark Saiger, and Danny Strickland all came to my room and gave me the best part of dinner

....being with friends...

They didn't leave to eat till after 9

Thanks friends (a word I do not use lightly)

You were the best medicine. I feel great, not just good, today.

On with the show!

That right there is the number one reason I go to these events

Sorry I missed that gathering

Never talked with Saiger but Danny is a great listener and actually makes a point when he speaks . Glad he could make it to this show

Pork Rind, I know when to talk and when to listen. I was raised by a man more southern than sweet tea!!!!

Jim P is on my bucket list of people i'd like to spend 48 hours with prior to leaving this earth.

Wow that works out well Daniel.

You're on his list to spend 48-minutes with......and the other night counts for a good chunk out of that. I think if you spend a minute saying hello in passing, he's done with you. ;)

Wish we could have stayed longer and spent more time with everyone. We had a great trip and I am really glad Bawb showed up before we left so he and Lora could meet before he decided so go to the purple flame :)

There are no better people I would have enjoyed being around more this week...

And wouldn't have missed the Dumpster diving for old smelly carpet... For the world...

Thanks Mark

I feel 100% better. If I had listened to my doctor, I would have gone to the ER. I can only imagine how long they'd have kept me once they had their hands on me.

Instead I relied on the company of good friends and a good night's rest.

All the blood is going where its supposed to now, and not where its not supposed to, and my only pains are people back in the work world I've returned to today.

SO educational. I knew it would be. I'm exhausted from all the talking and listening. Time very well spent!

BUT, the reason I came is all of YOU. I've made lots of friendships on this board over the past few years. These events only make these friendships better.

I didn't know we would make new friends here, but we have. Even a few that were unaware of this board and all that it offers.

Let's welcome the newbies regardless of where they are professionally. They often have more to offer than we give them credit.

When they need a butt kicking, let's continue to take them out back and flog them like a rented porty. BUT when they have picked themselves up off the dirty pavement and dragged themselves back in to join us, we have gained a friend and a brother.

Mike made a similar analogy of MB during his speech and it's such a good one.

Thanks guys for everything!

Great show, I enjoyed it a lot. Great meeting everyone I had a lot of fun.. I echo Bills comment about Jim. He handled it with class and presented the information in a very straight forward way. Excellent presentation between Jim and Scott.

Thanks to everyone behind the scenes that made it happen.
