Got a call last night from a PM that they need a place cleaned immediately. The guy moved out and is now living in his car. The owner can't afford new carpet and is moving in his daughter. The PM warned me the place is bad. I requested that the cleaning lady please pick up any debris and vacuum before I get there.
About an hour later the PM calls me back and says the cleaning lady refuses to enter the house until the carpet is cleaned first. She said the odor was too bad for her to be in there. So just to see what I'm getting myself into, I decided to take a trip out for a pre-inspection. Holy crap!!! My legs were instantly attacked by fleas, there is urine and dog turds everywhere, needless to say, the carpet was bad. When I looked out the sliding glass door, I could see two cats staring back at me. I opened the door to pet them and I could tell they were starving. I'll be returning today with some paper bowls and cat food. People that abandon animals piss me off!
The PM and myself have low expectations for this one. Normally I would turn this down. I figure this is a perfect candidate to test out my Hydramaster Odorslayer. This place is going to get soaked down like Gene Kelly Singing in the Rain.

However with Noah away at college I'll have more free time and am kicking around the idea of trying to do more than the occasional cleaning for family or friends. Not sure.. we'll see. Lots going on..
