Pretty cool.

Anyone ever hear of the Mosquito tune for a phone. (no pun intended) Its at 17000HZ I believe and only young kids can hear it. Used to have it at convenience stores to keep kids away. Now kids use it as their msg allerts on cell phones cause the teachers can't hear it. Adults lose the ability to hear the super high freq.

yes ron, i do remember hearing that awhile back about the kids ring tone. i have to use vibrate because for me to hear it its all the way up.

Click on Generate
Click Tone
Adjust the Frequency to 17000 Hertz then keep playing with it till you can hear it. ie lower it to 16000, then 15000, then 14000. When you can't hear it crank your speakers and see if anyone, or your pets, notice. :wink:

Hmmmm....Thanks for the post. Fortunately, I can still hear these tones in this test environment. I need to start wearing hearing protection again when I am cleaning so I will retain my hearing. Good reminder. I have gotten lax about using my hearing protection.
