I was at one of my suppliers Customer appreciation today and they had a Bozo... I mean Bonzer that people wanted to try. So they hooked it up to a Cleanco 47 that was there to demo. The thing would stay on the floor with the forward stroke but the 3 people who tried it couldn't get the front end to stay down on the back stroke. It lifted every time and sprayed water all over the place. I don't think zipper has anything to worry about. I just checked out rotovac's videos on it to see if a part was missing from the demo model but nothing was. P.S. You can hear Mike's voice on the video asking questions of the Rep. But in the video you can see the Bonzer staying down on both the forward and back stroke what's that about?

Its a POS as it was in ATL.

However if they continue to infringe on patents they will eventually spin out a cheapass version that works.

Hell, if I'm gonna go to the trouble of copying your idea, I'm forshow gonna get it right.

It could be worse, it could spray you in the face. :winky:

They did in ATL. They could also be testing on residential carpet. It did a decent job on the commercial hotel carpet. It still pulled awkward, funky bike handles don't help. It's a dawg with fleas.

The real thing costs more but it doesn't have fleas and is just built fookin better.

To each his own. If you don't appreciate the quality built or you're just a cheap mofo, buy the Bonzer.

You want the real deal buy the Zipper.

What ever happened to Ron Toney? The Bonzer sure looks like an idea he mentioned to me in the '90's. He was concerned about carpet cleaners pushing a wand on one side only and was looking to develop a wand with similar bicycle handles to spread the load. Last I heard of him, he was working with the ausherlian rug cleaning system. Did Rotovac steal his idea?

Dude, it would've been so funny if you left the "Z" off of the bonzer in your title.

Yes, yes...I am immature. But that word makes me laugh, lol.

What happened to the creator of the word, bonzer. Wasn't he gonna do something about that also?

I was in High School when I took an Ed York sponsored carpet cleaning class Ron taught.
Ed York was the man when I started in this business. I belonged to his Society of Cleaning Technicians...had this really thick 3 ring binder full of information on how to do just about everything. Pile lifters were a very big thing then. SCT stickers on the vans :-)

Yep been there too Bob. SCT, Fiber Cleaning Schools of America.

Steam Services in Fresno was our supplier back then. We had Vapor Vac's for many years until we bought a Steam Genie from them.
