Green Candle Wax

Client called today and has some wax in carpet. She tried to remove (unsuccessfully) with an iron and a paper bag.

I haven't seen it yet. How would you attack this?

Put a kettle on to boil. Pour over the wax and vac off with your hose cuff. Repeat as needed.Simple!

I'm thinking the green is set from the heat when she tried. Maybe I'm wrong.

Probably right about the dye.

it is dye for the wax the red relief after you get the wax out. you try adding some while you are getting the wax out if you can tell the dye it there. If your not sure wait until the wax it gone. Red relief can remove the carpet dye as well.

Also might be easier to patch

Talk to Larry Cobb about his trick with the uv flashlight and a peroxide solution. Careful though- Mikey says NO GLIDE TALK FOR COBB!

After getting the wax out, if color remains,

• Apply All Solv Extreme, allow a minute dwell time; agitate
• Apply Avenge Pro, Work into a food. Color will be in the foam. Wipe it away with a towel
• Alternate above products and procedure as needed

if you don't have one of these on your truck...get one. Lowe's or THD for about $50.00. Once it gets steaming...use it to melt the wax and rinse/extract. This gets all candle wax out for me (even the dyes). And it's great to use with some dye removers (to speed up the process)...works great with my red dye remover...but not with 2 part oxidizers.
