Was detailing the work van today and got to the 4 month old 14" Greenhorn wand. Took a look under the spacer screw at the wand opening. Found a good size obstruction of very fine almost felt like fibers working their way back up the wand head! Had to be killing my vac efficiency

How long was the "rope"?

I've serviced a few....no kiddin' they were 2 feet long and as thick as your thumb, and the guy was still cleaning with it daily.

The good thing about the Greenhorn is the glide comes off fairly easily if you roll it from back to front, and the screw is easily backed off to remove the rope and screw back in.

I will frequently take the end of the vac hose and run it across the glide. It will pull some of the stuff thru the holes and then you can pick it out. Do this a couple times and it will keep it from building up. I still take off the glide every now and then the completely clean and polish the wand.
