Grout Disolving During The Cleaning

As I was brushing in the cleaner, a few areas which had been repaired kinda disolved right before my eyes .. she had a grout repair guy come out and fill all spaces .. I came back 5 days later to clear seal it .. one 4 inch strip turned to mush .. kinda like pancake batter .. what do you think happened there ..

I'm not sure how to answer that but I've had the exact same thing happened on a small area that was repaired where it met the carpet.

I want to hear the answer myself

I recently did a estimate to clean a tile floor that had been newly re grouted. When I tested with alk and a brush the grout dissolved into a paste and wiped right out. it turns out that the di-yer used a grout that needed to be mixed with a hardener and then installed. THey didnt read the directions and now it all needs to come out and re grouted again>
