Being color blind makes it almost impossible for me to see red dye spots. When I went to an eye doctor when I was 16, they had me do the color blindness test and I couldn't tell difference between red/green blue/purple and a few others. Today I went to a job by myself that the customer specified a red dye spot that needed removing. Showed me it, I did a red dye removal on it, and to my eye it looked gone! I sent a picture to one of my biz partners and they could still see it, along with the customer. So I treated again and after just letting the iron sit for a while several times, finally removed it.
When walking threw a home with customers, usually one of my techs will point out the red dye spots to me or I won't notice them til after cleaning and seeing it didn't remove. At first I kind of just figured oh well, but today was really nuts. I could swear on my life there was no red left on this brown carpet. Yet everyone else could see it.
Anyone else have this problem? Half of these tests I couldn't pass: http://colorvisiontesting.com/ishihara.htm
I told my biz partners, maybe I should stay in the office more and just clean rugs @ the warehouse. That might be the only solution.
