Hard to clean rugs

I have seen several of these over the past year and I hate cleaning them. The fibers are wool and about 3 inches long and 1/2 in. dia. It's very hard to vacuum and it's unreal how much crap is built up at the base. About the only way we can get most of it is by shaking the life out of it then vacuum and repeat about 5-6 times. Any tips on cleaning these?

Air Dusting, full plant washing shines with these style rugs... I've had 3 or four come through as well. If you have to you can use an small air tool to blow each row.. or you can use an electric leaf blower.. this makes quick work as well.

Very difficult to clean effectively without an immersion/roller set-up. Nothing else will remove the deep soil without changing the texture.
