Have I told you how much I love my sprayborg?

Did a job today that I have used the TM in the past. It's just 4 hallways of carpet tiles. Because of the awkward parking, it take 275 feet of hose. Went in with a vacuum and sprayborg and did it in 1 hour for $250. Where has this machine been all my life? The only thing that could be better would if it was square instead of round to get into corners better.

Wouldn't a CRB do as well?

not just no, but hell no

Bonnet/pad cleaning is great for com .
it's far superior to any scrub 'n run encRap in cleaning (and appearence) on any soiled com

problem is the PITA factor of changing a pad every 30-50sf if more than light to moderate soiled ...and on heavy soiled com? maybe only 10-20sf pr pad.
otherwise, you're just smearing the slurry to the bottom like encRap "appearance" maintenance

an hour on the carpet + an hour dealing with dozens of dirty pads after the job

The problem with the crb is that when the brushes fill up, it spits clumps out all over the place. You have to follow with a wet/dry vac. Not a major problem but not pleasant when the customer is watching.
So does the borg not remove those soils then?

If a guy VACUUMS.... BEFORE VLM, the results are much better IMO. And NO, a CRB is NOT THE WAY.... it works great for agitation for HWE, great for T&G agitation, but not for encapping..... what I wonder, would a Square Scrub work? I’m eyeing up the little baby one...

Had one
obits are way to short/small
Painfully slow and inefficient .
and worse to manuver on carpet than a wheels up OP machine

great for finish sanding , terrible for CC'ing

For once, you’re right about that. They’re great for combo floor stripping too. Buuut, if you think any 175 or RX20 etc. is heavy, wait till you deal with one of these. Scrap that idea!!!
