Got a call for cleaning at a building that not sure if carpets and a work out rubber mat padding could be cleaned to concerned level. New occupant wanted us for the cleaners. We also went in and tested cleanablility in the areas of concern....well, another company got hired by the building owner!
Old trick actually my brother would do when we are doing samples of our work for people, he would spell our company name in the carpet and tell them to match that. Usually would get a call to come take our name out of the carpet.....after other companies received the bid and did the cleaning.
Well, got the call today. Company has been trying to match my cleaning on the mats for a few weeks now, and need to be done by tomorrow.
They are also working on the carpets.....I was asked to send out how much it would cost me to come in and fix the carpets...
My test areas on the bottom right corner....rest of the mats had just been cleaned again today....
Match that!!!
Now tomorrow I am going to go get the check or a credit card and get paid. Told the other company I do not charge to anyone more (well especially them since I usually have to chase them down for my money!)

Poor carpet cleaners had to sit and watch us tear up their work. We were in and out in 1.5 hours...2 vans,...2 of us...$500 plus tax!
Now we will see how they do around the carpet test patch....
