Have you ever been involved in a RMHC cleaning outside of Mikey's Fest?

I'm working on an article about how the industry as a whole has adopted the RMHC as it's pet charity over the years.....


MF alone has been responsible for these homes:

Minneapolis/ Saigerfest 9/19

South Carolina 3/19
Vegas 2/19
Minnesota 8/18

We used to clean our local RMH a few times but lost the job a while back. Usually a lower price wins and apparently the quality of the new cleaner is okay for them.

McDonald's does not own the RMHC.
Rather, they contribute up to 20% of their local income to funding the homes.

The SF RMHC has switched to mostly tiled floors.
I would be willing to clean the place for free as part of a MF happening elsewhere.

The parking issue is a challenge and is one reason @ruff and I didnt like cleaning the place.-- but that challenge could be overcome.

Pretty sure no one here could afford to clean the facilities Mikeysfest is doing for free, and stay in business.

MIKEYSFEST awareness brings volunteers,

Local talent shows up for a day and that mixed with tried and true advertisers send the latest greatest demo units.

Pretty sure every volunteer from SAPPHIRE are on the clock getting paid.

While a majority of volunteers are going on their own dime.

Still its a massive under taking any owner op trying to take on one of these on their own? Would need a month to complete it.

I didn't think of it as anyone's group. I was asked to come up and clean the furniture and rugs. Did that and left.
No Mark wasn't there and is glad he wasn't. It turned out fine.

The first one was drama free as far as I know.
The drama happened after and then from that point on...which is why I just did one. It's too bad it went that way and some thought the projects needed to be branded by them instead of just local Cleaners getting together to do something nice.
