Rick, do you recommend a dry extraction after, or a flushing extraction?

I refer to these heavily soil loaded situations such as that mat, where you can see the foam turning brown.

I often use DS2 to prespray and scrub, knowing that I may have to HWE after. I figure there is nothing to lose, since if the carpet cleans up well with the encap, then I'm done. But if more needs done, then I can do an extraction at a pretty good clip. If I don't flush every bit of the Releasit, it won't be an issue.

What do you think?

Normally there's no need for a post-extraction. And in the case of these mats, I think the Cimex/Releasit combo could have done the trick. I've cleaned other brightly colored logo mats with straight encap, in worse shape than this, and they cleaned up nicely. But this was MikeyFest - and there were toys to play with! Hence the extraction step was imposed. :icon_cool:
