Anybody know why this happens on grout lines, especially on darker colored grout? Using flex w/citrus solve rinsing with fresh water only(turning my solution off). How can I stop this from happening in the future? Thanks.
Acid wash, minimize moisture as much as possible and dry as quickly as possible. Agreed, most likely efflorescence.acid wash, as long as its man made. Your probably talking about efflorescence
Works out well, he has to laugh at you too.I still giggle every time I see a SS dude posting here.
Is flex a powder?
If yes then powders, certain powders, have history of leaving behind residue, it’s always there you just see it on dark colors
Hard surface is def my weak area (that i'll acknowledge anyway lol) do you always double rinse? Or just on darker grouts?correct...most powders have this problem.....you have to slow down....start at the entrance to your cleaning area...clean in....then edge...and rinse one more time..working your way back out....this always helps......

My spinner locks down HARD! or not at all if I adjust the relief, so I don't double rinse (not sure of brand It came with my setup and doesn't look like any I've seen online) Haven't had any complaints from customers, but thats not a boast cos they wont always talk to those they should..
You think I should switch over to using liquid ps?Is flex a powder?

Water based sealer is also a culprit
