heat with recoil3xps

can i hook up the mytee hot heat to the recoil 3xps with the recoil hybrid turbo and how hot will the water get?.

why stay away?, i hear its an awesome machine, just needs some heat. would a little propane work good?.

Its a poorly made actually. Loaded with Ace Hardware store parts, misaligned screws and a handle stolen off a old ladies shopping cart.

If Ed sold it for what it's actually worth, $800 I'd say give it a try but for over 3 grand you can do MUCH better.


If you must go with a porty there are many better choices.



I had one so take my suggestions for what their worth.

it's a porty, and will never be a TM.
to go thru the hassle of buying and setting a propane heater for a porty is just plain silly IMNSHO

don't fooled into thinking it (or ANY porty) can be run from the van like a TM.
Portys have their place, but it ain't in a van with 75 to 125ft of hose hooked to 'em

save your beans and buy a TM.
Don't waste money trying to make a porty into one

That's only a GOOD portable.

Most of them should be run with 15 feet of hose to do half as well as a crappy TM. :twisted:

again i used my avenger 450 with a 3 ht and didn't find it suitable and upgraded. More than happy with the apex
