I'm cleaning a nasty casino next week and want to be ready!

I have Hydramaster 4.7 putting out about 170* at the truck.
Glided Prochem TI Wand, RX-20 unglided, 21" 175 rotary with fibermax pads

I'm planning on useing Powermax boosted with the citrus-solv.

should I look for something stronger, and what steps would you take with my equipment for best results! Adam

Sounds like your set.. the only think I would be careful of is alot of casino carpet is wool because of its natural fire resistance. If it is a wool you might consider using a rinse agent that if not acidic atleast wool safe approved. (Unless you plan on rinsing with just water.)

If you are looking for a rinse agent: RAGE by masterblend was developed just for the casino carpets because many are heavily laden with oils and grease but are also wool as well. So RAGE is a Really Agressive Granular Emulsifier that is wool safe approved and its guarenteed to not leave a residue.

Just something to think about.

 For what it is worth, you might want to check into a gallon or two of anti-stat.......might save you and the casino a little stress!!!

I see no purpose for an anti stat.
Can you explain why you would need it?

Be sure to have a rotary for some agitation where you need it and bring a bunch of blowers to ensure a quick dry time.

thanks for the replys guys, I'm planning on scrubbing with the 175 and also useing the RX! I have done it once before about 9 months ago and the results were OK! I just used blitz and my TI wand with a stiff broom for aggitation! that is when I founf out that I needed a 175 rotary! I use Hydra-dry from hydramaster through my truck for rinsing not sure what it is doing for me but it came with the truck when I bouight it 2x45lb buckets! never hear anyone talking about it here or anywhere.

The carpet is 3x3 tiles, very nice with white and yellow medalons patterns in it and they look like crap with a coat of nasties on them!

any decent prespray should work with the 175 and the fiber pad, I would ditch the hydra dry and get soap free. Not that hydra dry is a bad product, it just isn't the best product for you

if you are prescrubbing than a nice encap product works well, go see Brian @ Cleaners Warehouse in Clackamas for some vac-away encap or order some snake oil from Jeremy Sweetland from this BB

With the TM you have I would use the Ti wand since the RX doesn't have glides. Depending on the length of the hose run I might rather pad it with a bonnet when done, RX may leave it to damp

or you could ask Dave @ CRS to demo the 360i

If customers are getting shocked from the machines than the anti static would be fine, CRS down in Portland sells it and it does work, but if there is no problem then there is no reason to apply it

are you doing the LaCenter casino, I see you are in Kelso

Tiles are getting to be very popular in commercial applications. Properly installed they are securly glued to the floor and won't buckle. It's not like the old days Bob.

I was going to ask you about that but didn't want to go so off topic. That was very trusting of them. Did they ask you to make sure to lock the doors when you were done? I love those kind of customers.

Spray it down, scrub it in, suck it up. But it sounds like you already knew that.

With a 175 rpm machine you can scrub well ahead of yourself. Depending of course on the layout of the casino. I always tried to keep at least 400 feet ahead.

In case you didn't already find out an onboard solution tank will put down prespray real fast but it does sling the sauce onto walls about a foot high in some cases. But it wont sling any at all if you spray it down instead of shower feed it.

Also if you get to scubbing and come upon a spot that you douche with spotter remember where it was/is so that it gets a little extra extraction/flushing.

We've cleaned lots of banks like that Bob, even had the keys over the weekend.

There is NO cash laying around a bank after hours. Much more in some of the stores we clean. I had more cash on ME than the bank had, so I was worried about being robbed while cleaning the bank at night.
