Help! How do I clean fabric panels? Picture included.

I have a new client I need to impress. How do I safely clean these fabric panels? How do I get out those visible stains? I've never done these before.

Shampoo with a upholstery mitt and rinse with a low flow tool like the Sapphire or Drimaster
I would use a encap type shampoo as they have broader stains removal capabilities imo

Blow a fan when done..

See how many hours you might work and charge what will make sense.

How much is it for you to be there alone or with a helper?
Insurance.
Gas.
Chemicals.
Tools.
Machines.
Labor cost.
Advertising.
Whatever...

It's all part of what you need to cover.

If the fabric is durable enough a good quality preconditioner sprayed on (pump up with a gunjet) and worked in with a soft carpet pile brush,
along with a glided stair tool.
You will be there all day with a mitt and upholstery tool imo.
About a buck a s.f.

Look at how they are fixed on, as often they are glued.
If so be careful using solvents but we would normally use a VDS on marks, mist some neutral prespray and then a quick textile rinse(slightly acidic)

Look at the spotlights and the dark marks too...the seem too even not to be shadows and lighting. Just be sure to check....trying to clean out shadows is maddening

You'll see this in person but those sure do look like shadows. Take off one of those switch plates and do a little burn test and see how well it's glued to the wall. I've done these for a fellowship hall. I used an encap cleaner, sprayed on gently (if at all) agitated, be careful as sometimes too much agitation makes the wall look different, then mist and extract, or use a tool like mikey mentioned. One caution, the wall I did had was 100ft long by 25 ft high, I only did up to a decorative molding strip about 9 ft high, the textile was very old and had lots of food spots from banquets, which I used peroxide on. I had to be careful not to clean too much or there would be a stark difference between the top and bottom of the wall (and for that matter the heavily worked on food stains and the rest of the wall)...it was 30 years old and had never been cleaned. Cleaned up well.

I had a carpet clean up mint except for this spot the size and almost the shape of an egg that really stood out. Im like WTH .. so as Im dancing around it, I noticed that when I came in between the large picture window and the stain .. it suddenly disappeared. So Im thinking something on the window was reflecting onto the carpet. I didnt see anything right away .. so Im waving my hand around like a ballerina trying to match up the hand shadow to the carpet shadow spot. Finally I hit the spot and discovered it was an oily smudge on the window.

Bring custy in to share my find and when I told her the spot on the carpet was a shadow from an oil smudge on the window - she looked at me like I was crazy. She grabbed window cleaner, washed the smudge and wha lah the carpet stain was gone !!

A clean bonnet and a little bit of your favorite Encap and call it a day. You'll be suprised a how well that will work without overwetting them.

I had an office supply store that had thousands of movable partition walls....they would rent them out....
Twice a year they would have me come over and clean a thousand or so.....30 seconds to a minute per side ...I had a helper flip them over...fi bucks a piece .....turned down my pressure and wanded them all......
I had that gig for well over 10 years

I don't agree . . .

We would use a liquid prespray with lots of solvent.

And some oxidizer or POG directly for the various stains.

Encap stuff worked great for us for 95% of them, solvent would be overkill.

Cleaning panels can sometimes burn you....

Had some people try to clean themselves and left a big old mess to correct.

They got too wet and the wood from behind bleed through...

Now, I have also had some panels that we have had great luck with. Have also cleaned with HWE and low pressure.

Have used swivel head stair tool and also light weight wand (because I won it actually)

Here is a post on the problem panels....These were a real pain to correct by the way and didn't turn out perfect, but got them respectful

And here are some pics cleaning walls with a carpet in a school...and my son in law showing butt crack and underwear....became one of the reasons I bought them all undershirts!
