Help identify a part

On a CDS unit what is the spacer block with the extra heater hose outlet called? It goes in the van engine under the thermostat housing.

Where can it be purchased?

I noticed Sears sold out that item. Just look up "thermostat riser" usually about $25.

I have found a few but nothing that will take hoses larger then a 1/2". I am looking for one to use on a 350 with a CDS install so I think the heater hose needs to be 3/4"

Use two 1/2" ports. Will be 90% flow of 3/4" port.

but you could accomplish the same thing moving the tstat to an inline housing (bolt two straight necks together) and placing a tee inline

you can't get the part from hydramaster?

Or you could call Butler. On my 95 they are in the upper and lower hoses.
