I think the adjustable thermostat may be bad. This is the stat that controls the exhaust diverter. I have power to the stat and when the unit is cold and the thermostat is turned all the way up there is no power to the actuator. Could there be another cause other than the stat?

not sure about your particular unit but is there a relay between the tstat and the diverter? if so the relay could be bad or if its fused it could have a blown fuse..

Are you checking for hot at the diverter or coming out of the tstat?

If u turn it all the way down you should have power. If u turn it up and down u should here it open and close if u dont then it needs cleaning.

Is there a problem with your tempature?

Thanks for the replies guys. I have a vacumm operated diverter. The t-stat sends power to the valve which directs vacumm to one side of the diverter or the other. The fuse is good, I have power to the t-stat but none to the valve. I have a new t-stat ordered. I had been noticing that my temp wasn't as hot as it should be and while doing some other maintenance noticed the diverter wasn't operating.
