Hero time - suitcase stains on carpet

A customer emailed these pictures today. They've never had this carpet cleaned. There is no donor carpet to use and they are going to have a open house on the weekend. Unfortunately the suitcases cannot stay where they are. Any ideas before I go over there and try and make this work.

Personally, I don't think there is much hope. But I would look like a real hero if I fixed this.

These suitcases from potterbard bled dye on to carpet

There seems to be a little yellowing in addition to the dark lines.

I had a small smaller but similar stain. A good quality rust remover actually did the trick.
