I use to carry both the Ti..6 jet wand and my westpac 4 jet wand on my truck...

every time I went to grab a wand my first choice is my 4 jet west pack wand...It got to where I just finally pulled the Ti wand off the truck....

the westpac is a bit heaver..but not enough that it will make a difference at the end of your day...
It plants its self down on the carpet with a glide where you can feel a bit of resistance and you know it is doing its job...
I like the 4......95015 jets....it helps control my heat and I have always got good results with them.....

For me.....the titanium wand..is just to light...it just does not have that little extra weight for it to plant its self down...it feels like it is just gliding across ice......factor in 6 jets.....and my dry times were not as good with it as with my westpac.....

If you ever get both....clean and dry stroke half of a room with one and the other half with the other...you may not see a difference in the cleanings...but I promise you will see a difference in dry times..........

it all in balance and performance....not all of us run huge blowers.....bigger is not always better..unless you dual wand.....

let that heat out of your SS, you're gonna blow that massive HX up with that westpak spritzer set up.

10 flow at the very least, jesus, you live in the desert, what are you worried about dry times for?

I'm running a Westpac with 6 flow on my Cleanco PTO with max heat option. I would lose too much heat if I went to higher flow...right?

I'd love to come...maybe I can. Watching our $$$ right now though. When daddy's not working there's nothing coming in. I know I'd convince myself of all the things I "need" too. It's been our biggest sales AND spending year yet. It would be cool to meet everyone...

I have tried higher flow....and I am not saying that it does not work....but personally I can not see any difference in the cleaning then with a well balanced machine...giving you good heat and good dry times....

Just because I live in the desert does not mean that we don't here the complaints about over wetting a carpet....and it taking days to dry....it still happens...
I have spend/spent a ton of time tweaking as much performance as possible out of my machines and equipment to give me what I need....
I have taken it both directions....and have always found that balance and performance wins every time....

I can not remember the last time I have had a....wicking issue...browning....carpets being left to wet......carpets getting dirty to fast....or anything that is related to my machine or tools....Normally if I get a complaint it is because I had my head up my ass and did something stupid........

my machine and tools are balanced at about as close to perfect as I am going to get them....

All kidding aside, I thought you HOSS'd every thing any ways?

What rinse or rinses are you using?

Correct....one step cleaning that has been engineered to utilize both flow and heat at the same time........and give you some of the best rotary dry times out there....whole different ball game then cleaning with a wand.....and a very easy machine to balance to your equipment....

I haven't used a rinse in years...........

My findings are that well formulated rinses actually help facilitate and accelerate the evaporation process as well as help to remove the last degenerate's over use of detergents and di'limonine based pre sprays.

I would be remiss if I failed to pontificate on the possibility of you legitimately needing to use rotary extraction so frequently, perhaps the low flow wand set up is erroneously inadequate.

I have 5 different specialist...sitting around rubbing there paws together waiting for me to give in and go have my neck operated on....Its not going to happen....If I wand cleaned all day long it would kill me....I let the machine do the work for me....

But.......I will be honest and say that even if it was not for that...I would still rotary clean...it just does a much better job at getting deep into the carpet and getting all that crap out...( I have said it a 100 times )...the filters do not lie.....

This confuses me....you run some of the most elaborate machines out there....huge blowers.....sophisticated heating systems...high flow wands..and you need a over rated rinse to help you out....????????

My finished product LOOKS much better when I use a rinse. I also add a light deodorizer (cinnamon this time of year) and the customers love it!

Do you ever use hair conditioners Jim?

It leaves my curls so soft and manageable.

If you had a General Chem pump you'd be on board

I have hardly no hair.....so I save as much money on conditioner as I do with a rinse....

I am not telling people not to use a rinse....some people actually need it....

when I had my Vortex and put in the new water tank...I set up duel rinse tanks ( like AT put in your machine ) years ago....
Like a idiot one day I forgot to turn off my chem pump and blew it all to hell doing tile...but I never noticed it...
cleaned a bunch of carpet before I finally saw the problem....I never noticed a difference..my clients never noticed a differance...so from that point I started testing it and found out that the way I clean it is not something that I really need.......

got rid of the Vortex...moved over to the thermalwave....but before I took the entire rinse system out I re-tested everything...month later it is all sitting in my storage....
same with the 570.....

If I wand cleaned as much as you do...maybe...I might look at it a bit different...but because I am a avid rotary cleaner....there is no difference....

Why not use every advantage possible? A rinse will help, though there may be times when you won't notice the difference.

I guess I fail to see the advantage of high flow wands..that flush everything out sucking down his chemical jugs...or turning his metering down and then letting the high flow dilute it down to nothing....it has to compensate some where.......

that's all I was doing with a rotary.....am I really leaving that much behind to make that huge of a difference....

Do this Jim

Tomorrow spray some of your Cobbs pre spray into aplastic cup, let it sit for ten minutes then rinse it out with just one good dunk in the sink then fill it up and take swig and let us know what it tastes like.

As you can see we don't over use our rinse.

One jug has the Magic Wand neutral and the other jug has the BP encap/acid rinse..

We can get ten or more average jobs from each jug..

If it is working for you then keep doing what you are doing...the only impact that I have seen is more on my wallet then anywhere else....
there is a lot of cleaners out there that just like myself that do not see the need for a rinse and do not have any problems not using one...

This is one of the three conversations that I have tried to avoid for years......its just another one of those...there is really no right or wrong...
we both get good results.....we both are running a good business...and we both are not getting complaints....
we just do things different....
