Hiring an ex insurance adjuster

Anyone here hire one? If so I'm looking for ideas on pay scale.
Hourly? Salary? Bonus on jobs he gets from his adjuster buddies, etc........

15 years ago we thought about it. Large company reduced staffing and one was available. He was making 60k. Over worked and under paid for what was required of him.

With vendor programs I can't see it a value. In fact unless you are a vendor I can't see personal relationships with insurance representatives doing you much good business wise. We work for several but only for their own homes.

I know an ex insurance adjuster who started a restoration company and his connections have helped him grow very fast.

The biggest part of his success is that he adheres to all program work rules and follows all the lines he used to try to enforce while he worked for the other side.

He buys monthly as he grows.

He is up to 8 dehus and about 40 or so fans.
