Can anyone tell me what year the IICUC became the IICRC,
also what year the DuPont Masterseries Certification program was put to rest?

No guessing, okay?

Details, Details and more flippen Details,

And then no flippen guessing, Whats amatter pasqually???

Well lets see took my Master Series test in 88 or early 89 right after I took over running Claude's. Aaron was still with ChemSpec and did the Master Series class in Seattle. It only lasted a couple of years even with Bill Doane beating the drum (more like a dead horse) I still have one of those million dollar pens that he gave me..

Dr Edgar P was still involved with the IICUC when the name change. Kenway resigned Manager of the CCINW to run the IICRC but that was when they changed their Tax status a couple of years later.

1989 or 90 is all I can remember for Master series and 92 0r 93 for the name change. If that ain't trying to factually guess I shore nuff don't know what is....

This is probably one of those things that wakes me at 3 in the morning when I actually remember the day and date.

Damn Joe, I was there and involved with both!!!! Now is a good time to ask me about Mameries instead of memories.. Sorry..

Mameries

Thanks my dear Watson,

Actually this wasn't just a trivia question.

I'm responding to the requirements of a bid we're working on. Some of them are way out of date and others are painfully amusing.

We must have a DuPont Masterseries certification (which I probably threw away 15 years ago) and be "IICUC certifed" (maybe they want my Sylguard certification too). Our PSI "can't exceed 300" (no high flow here) and the topper "a good alkaline spotter to reduce browning" (right).

Don't let me keep you up John. Thanks again.

Hey Joe, If it were only a few years to pick from, no sweat, but you're talking decades. It feels like it was so long ago that I couldn't possibly have been there.

I don't have time to dig through the archived news of the day for accurate dates, but did a quick and lazy web search and unearthed several carpet cleaning companies still claiming their DuPont MasterSeries qualifications.
