So I am heading out the next few days and focus on commercial work. Realitors, daycares, rv lots, Dental offices, basically any company with carpet within a 10 mile radius. So should I *send in a letter first* or *just show up and offer my services*. I got a real nice presentation, with professional handouts. I'm gonna shower and shave that day too. My goal is to do 20-40 stops a day for the next few days.
Then After that I am gonna hit residental with door hangers and mail out some postcards depending on $$$.
My goal is to do 10-20 jobs a week. Any other suggestions. I am concerned about the up coming winter....

I prefer to hear what you "did", not what you're "going" to do.

give us an update on how many places you actually stopped in to schmooze.

Hopefully you'll be back here telling us you booked mucho jobs

If you have good rapport with managers of places you already clean, they more than likely have have managerial jobs at similar places and still have friends there and could "Set" you up a date with there old job.

Ive done this several times with almost 90% success in getting new com work. Helps break the ice.
