How are they making any profit?

Called Novus windshield repair to fix my windshield. I had 4 chips. 45.00 for the first and 10 for each extra chip and a max 0f 65.00. He drove 8 miles out of town and spent about 1.5 hours on the job so about 2 hrs with driving time. And on top of that he billed my insurance company direct so he has to wait for his money. I gave him a nice tip. Nice guy and did a great job.

But do you think that dude's costs of doing biz are as high as ours?
That little bag-o-tools, syringe and bottle plastigoop costs a bit less than TM's and associated cleaning equipment, you think?
