:stir: I don't always believe everything that I read, especially something supposedly 2000 years old.

Like, from ten stone tablets they made a book with hundreds of pages??

Nor do I believe everything I read on the internet with Facebook, Wiki-links, Forums or TMF.

Having said that, whoever wants to believe in it, that's their prerogative & I have no qualms about that.

Everyone has a right to believe in what they want to believe in.

But that does not give them the right to push their views onto someone that is not interested.

When that happens, I feel I have the right to supply them with a knuckle sandwich to discourage them pushing their views onto me. :arrrr:

Phew, after all that, I believe I'll now have a coldie.

Bottoms up. :very_drunk:

:yoda:

People have to believe in something...seems to be hard wired into our DNA. Most who don't believe in a religion have substituted it for global warming, zombie apocalypse. encap, pokemon or some over whelming force that is out of their control. I believe that if possible, live and let live. This changes when you don't let me live or let live... then we may have an argument...believe me... it's better to live and let live.

It's not everyday one comes across someone who is insane. They are the most interesting people in the world.

And they say they are enlightened...........closer to God.

Futile attempt to get this back on track:

I've lowered the price of protector (Maxim Advanced) from $.17/ft to $.12/ft, then I round down to the nearest 9 ($49, $59, $69, etc.)

It's been implied that only hacks sell protector under $.15/ft, but now I sell a lot more and still gross around $200 per gallon of concentrate.

The way I use to do it...because it was easy for me to figure out since I already know what the measurement for the cleaning was...or at least I know what I'm charging...sorry, long... - I use to charge half the cleaning price for the fabric protection. Half the cleaning price in about 10 minutes meant the profit on the job doubled. That makes me happy!

It doesn't matter what people say or imply, your price should dictated by your costs of doing business,, marketplace realities, and mostly the fact that you got into business to make your own decisions about your life.

And remember, sometimes people enhance the truth of what they charge, how busy they are, how successful, etc in the "internet universe"

WHAT? I thought if you read it on the Internet it WAS true...
Back to the protector charge for carpet... We made about twice as much protecting carpets as we did cleaning them... sometimes we ask our customers to apply the protectant after they are through vacuuming and cleaning their carpets with our equipment... we give them a small discount... If I have to apply the protectant I have them go in and make me a sandwich so I don't have to pay for lunch later.... WHAT? :dejection:

Sell it for "your price point" and help more customers.
