Since you obviously are on the Internet you can search their archives back a good long ways by author or subject. So throw away, I say.

PS Or you could do the literal old-fashioned "cut and paste" where you flip through, find articles you like, cut them out and file them under subjects. No one should be storing ads for 10 year old truck mounts.

I used to NEVER throw them away....before "the intervention". It was either that or end up on "Hoarders".

On the old Installation and Cleaning Specialist of the 1970's I found that Howard O. had a formula of rotating the same 10 subject month after month with the same advertiser/expert writing the blurbs. I cut out the articles for a while until real-world experience proved much of it to be fluff.

John Downey raised the bar for BOTH magazines with the new energy of Cleanfax.

However some of the same patterns persist.

Thanks,
Lee

I regret that I DIDN'T save a few ads of TM's from decades past...very educational to see how things evolve.

Hey Doug, it could be worst. I still got 8track tapes of Steve Toburen's "Healing the Loss", and "Selling on the Homefront". :p Love ya Steve!

I normally keep them for 1year, then toss them. I just recieved a Cleanfax 2year renewal promo. I believe it was free when I signed up for it and I wouldn't pay to recieve it. blowme Maybe this is a sign times are rough. Ivebeensold

Well... this month's ICS came in the mail about noon yesterday, and was in the recycle bin by 12:30. So I guess 30 min is about right.

I use to keep them all , in order in boxes.

Then after years of hardly ever looking back on them I tossed them all.

It nearly tipped the recycle truck over when the hydraulic arm picked up the bin.

Now I keep them for about a month then into recycle.

No fibs, I just took out an IICRC upholstery manual, an all fabric cleaning manual, (taught by Jim Darling - RIP) a dri eaze flood tech manual (Rick Ruch - crappy teacher), and an old reference guide (S 500) for floods. I bleed prespray....
