If you tighten down some more it should stop swiveling

I’ve replaced my lead hose again today. I was using Goodyear Neptune. Replaced it with more Goodyear. 250’ cost me 518$.... I’m ordering the Cobbs stuff Monday morning. It blew out after my first job... no, wait, it blew 2 days ago, cut off the bad, had it recrimped, and blew again this morning..... ATM.... is there EVER an end to repairs? I’m getting the thermoplastic stuff. I’ll run 25’ of Neptune, then Cobbs...

The 25' of buffer hose connected to Cobb's hose is holding up good on my truck

That connector is similar to the Multi Sprayer brand inline sprayer for the spray wand to the Dema valve

Why do you run a buffer hose?
Because the water inside the nylon hose got too hot and damaged it when it was hooked up directly to the tm. Larry and a couple other guys on here told me that a buffer hose was needed for the nylon braided hoses

It's probably not the hose, it's the crimping. Who ever is doing your crimping is not doing it right. I have rarely had problems with the goodyear hose.

Do you think there is any difference in the temperature inside that hose at the truckmount fitting and 10' further down the hose toward the house. I say NO. So how is that swivel hose going to prevent a bursting hose?

I have used Parker hose (fabric braid) for 30 years, and connect it directly to the truckmount with no type of leader hose whatsoever, and have NEVER blown the hose out at the truckmount.

I also use Neptune hose (GoodYear), with the same results. If you ask me, those bend restrictors at the fitting trap heat and cause premature problems.

We are using a 220,000 btu propane heater which can be scalding HOT.

Are you saying to drop the bend restrictors?
