I've had about 3 empties in the last month that had one or more bleach spots. In some cases several. For those that do it, is it a good $ maker or more of a pita?

I do color repair but I'm old school. I prefer just spot dyeing nowadays. It's pretty easy to learn. Practice is the key.

I have spot dyed a few but am colorblind so red, green and grey all look similar and I have a hard time getting a good match.

I've got a kit but have yet to charge for it, it's going into my quiet season so i'll be dumpster diving some wool and nylon carpets to practice on

Depends on your target market. Whether you want to get into it. ,

When I do it, it is slow. Partially color blind and it takes me a long time to get the match. The wife also does color repair. She is quick and good with color. She makes $120 to $150 per hour. Gets some calls from the ski resorts to repair empty rooms after the season is over.

Guess I need to pick up some remnants and break out the bleach. I'm not aware of anyone in my area offering it as a service so I'm thinking it may be worth giving it a shot.
