I've been seeing so many posts on Mikey's board from Zipper users that I'm curious as to how many have jumped on board.

I'll start:

Me! (One so far, more in our future once my teams really understand the benefits of this tool.)

I've had one now for a couple months. Even though I don't do a lot of commercial work it comes of the truck almost every day.

one Zipper here for me--- But My guys don't like the zipper yet on residential jobs; they think it slows them down or hurts their back-- But they never like any change at first. maybe in the future they will grow to like it more.

One 13" model that was Ashley Mckendree's old one.... Got it when you couldn't buy them in 2011 I think... Use it for commercial, sucking pit washed rugs, and very rarely residential......

Not the direction I'm going with my commercial work so not here. If I had large numbers of empty residential and restaurants I'd migrate to one quickly.

We have two 15 inch units (one on each truck)

And they get used everyday....residential and commercial.

hardly used my Prochem Titanium forever....

Rotovac 360 XL's come off the van the most now if a Zipper can't handle it.....

I have one; it's my go to tool for residential and commercial carpet cleaning. With a 12 flow it's a great rinsing tool and leaves the carpet the driest.

Got one in last week and have used it about 6 times so far. My results have been incredible. Thick pile on residential is a bit difficult but well worth the extra labor involved.

I bought one last month, ZipJr. Cleaned a 1600sf house that was pre-vaccumed for me in 4.5 hours with very acceptable results and dry times. I used to think that I needed a rotary cleaning tool on every job. Not anymore. The same job with my Roto-Vac would have taken me at least two more hours.

Your's for sale Marty?
Not yet. It has it's utility, but if I had to do it all over again I'd buy a rotary extractor instead. You see, I have a Cimex I use on most commercial, so I really needed something for powering through trashed residential. While the Zipper will do that, I'm beginning to understand that it's not the idea tool for the residential environment. So, I would consider selling it and purchasing a RV XL or Hoss, but I can't really be certain those would be a great choice either since the same shills that convinced me the Zipper was all that and a bag of chips for residential are the same posters saying the RE's are so wonderful.

So, the only choice I have is to buy one, and ACTUALLY PAY FOR IT, and see for myself. Since my game plan is not to be a shill, but great cleaner who can be trusted to give out honest, sound appraisals of tools and methods.
