I grew up in St. Catharines. (that's about 30 miles from Burlington Ontario, Canada and no, there are no igloos.....anywhere)

This picture was taken a couple of days ago looking towards the back of our home.

I just took this one (below) at the front of our home, in fact it's snowing here right now. Your wrong about the igloos, there every where up here now. Things have changed dramatically since you have lived up here. If you look closely Dennis, in the back ground of the bottom picture you can see a couple of igloos across the road. In fact just the other day I had to battle with a Polar bear to get my car out of my driveway !

Carpet retailers will give you referrals, but you've got to stay in constant touch with them. Out of sight, out of mind. Pretty much the same for any referral source.

I have one carpet retailer that I just picked up. He does NOT sell SHAW. So this stupid soa Sheet won't bother me here.

We have several that have us do work for them or refer us to clients. Just done a job yesterday from one.

Like the Wiz we leave them a brochure holder and they call us when the run low.

We periodically stop in with donuts to thank them for the recommendations.

I have one good one that sends alot, One that does once in a while. I think they are like Realtors, most of them are worthless, but there are a few good ones that are great for business.

i voted No.

have a couple/few that send me 1 every couple weeks in the busy season (May - December for me).

focus on comm...i don't find they recommend me for any comm work so it's all good.
