How many TM users take in the vac hose and solution line together?

Just wondering, cause that's how we do it - both go in together (there are 2 of us).

We still have 2 hose trips in as we are dual wanding about all our jobs.

After vacuuming is done...

First: the solution line and prespray a good portion -if not all- of what will be cleaned.

Second: vacuum hoses and whatever else...

This way, the prespray is encouraged to break up more soil by forcing a little bit more dwell time.

Yeah, AFTER VACUUMING IS DONE. By the time one guy gets through properly vacuuming, the other guy will be halfway through cleaning.

But back to the point, I don't care which is pulled in first or second. It serves no functional advantage one over the other.

I take vac in first to keep doors from closing and pinching solution line.

Seems Steve found an advantage...

I bring in the Sol line first unroll back to van. Vac hose in 50' sections. One or two 50' sections are unrolled back to the van. No scratching of walls, ripping sound over thresholds. Everything works back to the van.

I wish I had a grown-up son working for me...but the older one is only 5.

Oh and if I had a grown-ass kid that would mean I'm an old fart too...like some other commenters here. Oooopppsss

Carry both in after vacuuming , a wand as well..

We'll toss the lead 50 of 2" on to a hard floor area in the back of the house, then lay out the pressure back to the truck

For years I ran my solution inside. Worked great. Makes the combo a little heavy as you get older. On jobs if it's a fairly straight pull I will pull both. The vacuum is going to shrink so bad that you'll end up short if you don't grab extra. Hardly makes it worth the effort.

Both of our hoses are on reels so we carry in battery sprayer and wand on first trip, then solution line except in the winter when vacuum hose goes in first. We count the steps in to the farthest point then we know how much hose to carry in our arms. The guy who carries in the last hose stays with the wand while the other guy starts the truck and then he brings in the spot removers and blower.

I have a helper vacuum while I setup usually run wall gaurds then set fans to open doors then fun a 100 ft of Parker to farthest point. Then carry vac hose in separately. All while my machine warms up. I'll carry a wand in with a hose.

My helper does it different he runs water line in first pre sprays then runs vac hose

I take in the Vac hose and Solution hose in one arm and the wand in other hand and my "Baby Bag" strapped over the shoulder. my "baby bag" has: all spotters, blocks, tabs, towels, booties, Ph tester, and skidders. Corner guards are laid on top of the baby bag and held under my arm. I don't bring in my hydro force at this time because I may have to adjust the formula based on what I am cleaning. I will be carry all this stuff into the house upon my 1st encounter/entrance in to the home. Ill tell the customer to take me to the farthest part of the home we will be cleaning and drop the items in the appropriate place in that room. I will then do the "walk through" with the custy..

Papa, you meet them at the front door with all that in hand?

Yes.. I believe It subliminally tells the customer-- I'm ready to work-- now get out of my way. haha.

I might leave the stuff in the entry way-- It depends If I know the customer and the layout of the home. I then do the walk through where we handle the questions and concerns.

I real off enough solution line to get to the farthest point of where I am going to be cleaning. and then walk in laying down the line as I go. I still surprise myself with how exact I've become. Normally Ive pulled off within a foot of what i need. Then I lay down my pre spray before I start bringing in any more equipment or vac hose.

Restaurants and some apartment buildings got me in that habit.

TE="Lee Stockwell, post: 4395306, member: 40104"]Commercial doors can do it easily.[/QUOTE]

Wow. Papa's adorable.
Had I carried all that like him, I'd have left a trail of destruction behind me throughout the house, on my way in. Pops must have taken classic ballet lessons.

I always take the solution and vacuum hoses together. It's a 'no brainer' they're attached :winky:

Man you are a pack mule! ;)

It would certainly cut down on trips but I'd agree with Ofer I'd break more than my fair share of contents. I'm a bit of a bull in a china shop already, we don't need to make it worse for me. :winky:
