I have a 300 ft reel actually, and I carry 250 ft of 2" hose. How much 2.5 do you think would fit on there?

150? I could probably figure it out, but it gives me a headache trying to think about it.

200 ft.

But you'll probably only need 100' of the big stuff unless you routinely make 200' runs.

on a 200' run, having 1/2 of that being 2.5 still leaves you with super suck, it's like being 50' off the truck all the time.

Sorry...I was thinking of a 300' reel...it's basically a 3:2 conversion plus a bit....so you would Get 150' of 2.5 and about 50' of 2" on your current reel.

Fortunately that is enough for most guys.

I have a 300 ft reel, I only carry 250, as that is MORE than plenty.

If I could carry 200ft total with 150 2.5 and 50 of 2....I'll be content.

Our 300 ft reels carry 75ft 2.5 and 165 ft of 2" pretty smoothly. We have to carry a extra 150ft of 2" cause "that's what we do".

We reduced our 2.5 usage to 75ft for residential. Just better for our guys.

Once we get to where we have commercial only trucks we'll then run all 2.5
