How much water are you using?

Today I cleaned around 1500 sq ft of carpet with my 6 jet, 9 flow at 600psi and used around 55 gal. Of water. Is this close to the amount of water you guys are using?

You would notice those things if you use 50%

I usually run about 400 psi but this particular job needed all the love it could get.

Pretty dirty. They had pets but no urine issues. It was empty, so I was done 3 hours. Prevac, pretreat, scrub with 175, HWE.

Id probably be at about 85-95 gallons at 400 psi and 6 flo - same proceedure except with a CRB. Maybe Im doing something wrong.

What machine are you running? This was wide open areas with no furniture. There was no idle time so the machine never bypassed water.

Hydramaster 575. Doesnt bypass

On heavy soil I usually make two rinse passes so that is probably the difference.

I use 3 jet at 09 flow. That is close to what I use. If trashed above medium I better have the water hose hooked up.
