You could clean it as you would wool carpet. Know that the silk will shrink and curl and that you'll have to hand-groom every bit of it with steamer and brush to bring it back up. Charge accordingly, they have a huge investment in their carpet.

You could dry solvent clean it and avoid the grooming hassle, but you're going to use a lot of solvent.

Or, find someone that will lend you a rotary DriMaster.

I've been consulting on cleaning wool carpet with silk inserts.

I would use a Sapphire Upholstery tool, Silk Softener, DC Natural Fiber cleaner,

and finish by brushing the silk inserts.

Mike;

You only showed one room to clean with silk inserts throughout.

I would use the Sapphire tool on that entire room.

Cleaning with a floor tool will cause the silk to dry stiff.

I bet the carpet cost around $3000 to be installed in that room. It would not be unreasonable to charge $300+ to clean it.

Oh yeah, it has dog piss on it :lol: would stain magic be ok to use on it?

That carpet would look good in your living room. You could put the stain magic spot under your couch (the couch with the bleach spot) and nobody would know but your accountant. :lol:
