anyone use with success the Hudson line of sprayers for solvent based protectors?, the stainless ones

They are an investment but good value still because they last forever.

We've them last 10-years and more. The only time they don't is when you leave them under pressure or leave solvent in them over extended periods of time. Even then just replace what is damaged.

The Hudson looks nice and all but for $170 you can buy at least ten of the Chapin sprayers. I've been using these sprayers in the 1/2, 1 and 2 gallon size and they have worked well for the last two years. I apply some solvents (Cobbs sealer) with no problems. I've gotten them off Amazon and also at my local Ace Hardware. Cost between $9 (1 gallon on sale presently on Amazon) and $17.

If you want a sprayer you don't have to pump get the pds. Professional dispensing system. My Hudson lasted a long time but somehow got a small hole. I fixed it but now it's a home sprayer.
