Just curious, how do you know it's the therm, and not the gauge?

I can tell at the wand and on the quick connect fittings.

A plugged Heat Bypass Oriface causes similar problems with mine. Also, there might be a Alen screw under the cap of the thermastat knob for adjustment purposes. I don't understand how it works but my mechanic drilled a hole through the knob to gain access to the screw. That way he could adjust it and read the settings at the same time. Keep us posted!

lol check your fuel supply is #1

humm I would hope you check it all the time, if its not tied into your truck tank
