is there video of the comp?

I have a bit of footage from the next day and neither side looked that great....certainly no clear difference...maybe the right side was a little better.

I can post vids later.

The wool carpet it the lobby came out equal. Obviously the Eraser did it faster.
I was really expecting a $9000, 3 phaise motor, $220 pound monster of a machine to feel dramatically quicker than a Cimex. Myself being an over cleaner, I would still make two passes on dirty carpet, as John's guy did on this carpet. (actually about four with two types of pads)

I personally would have used a brown stripe Tuway under my Cimex and post cotton padded with my 175.

Waaay too much water was used on the HWE side.
The next day we went over all of it again with the bonzer and loads of mud was being flushed out on both sides. Still looked like crap. The carpet was toast in that entry.

Now the other entry was a whole different story..

So, is there a true system that will get like 90% of the soil out? I encap, I pad, but the soil is still there. Even with HWE, and my Pro1200. It's all about the pre-vaccing.

So, was that traffic lane determined to be the Bain of all cleaners?????? Parking lot sealer walk off, baking in that Atlanta sun, day after day? I clean, or try to clean, that exact carpet, same color, carpet tiles, in one of my commercial buildings. It is used in the elevators. Never gets to looking great, whether after padding, Cimexing, or HWE.

I think it shows the value in having multiple systems at your disposal. It gives you options to best match conditions and soil load.

We would have Encapped the vestibule with a Cimex and cleaned hallways with the Zipper. Had there been less of a pile maybe Encap pedal it all if it was no more soil load that what we saw.
