Does it even make sense to have a helper when using a Hydra Force Sprayer? Do you guys have two solution lines in the home so you do not have to stop? One for the wand and one for the Hydra Force?

here it is again..

We both walk the job with the customer.
One talks price/details while the other starts vacuuming.
Dual vacuum if needed.
One lays out two pressure lines and mixes up HF
Other is prepping, tabbing, moving furniture bringing wands and tools into home
One presprays while other either pre scrubs or starts laying vacuum hose
If RE is needed on will run the HOSS or RV360XL while the other trims with a wand
or both guy run wands. plenty of dwell time in all that goings on.

Both usually finish wanding at the same time or roughly so.
One wraps up hoses and van while other grooms/teflons and deals with customer

No dwell time, Mikey?

Lets say you are doing an upstairs w/3 bedrooms and a hall. Spray all three rooms, go back to the first one sprayed. There is your dwell time.

Not too far i dont like it when the Pre-Spray dries up.

The last room you are going to do, put a little more down. If it's all sprayed you can work faster!

Heck, I'll even hit the stairs at the same time as bedrooms. More dwell time of stairs ain't going to hurt anything if they are bad.

single wand, two man crew in res w/HF is about the most inefficient way one could do it:icon_rolleyes:

empties under 1000sf can work...one man grabs the HF and sol line and heads for farthest point, while second man hooks up water, plugs in sol line and turns on pump.
the whole joint gets hosed down while vac hoses are being set up

How can a HF and a helper make me inefficient???

Larry, You seem like a cool guy, if you try telling me I gotta go back to pump ups to be more efficient - I'm going to shat my pants!:icon_razz:

Even if I have to stop the wand for 20 minutes(lol) while lugnut pre sprays it's still gotta be better than a pumper.

If you want to intelligently discredit a mans argument, find factual ways to counter it. Do not succumb to the foolish temptation to grasp at the most ridiculous conclusion an present it as fact.

Pump-up sprayers are as useless as a HF in the hands of a two man, single wand, crew.

If I owned an Aerotec, I'd do as Mike does. I'd have the room for two vacs and dual tools of all kinds, and the power to dual wand. Single wanding, my choice is to use an electric sprayer. Battery sprayer are another option.

Unless you can run two solution lines. We set up like normal and get all set up and when there isn't much hose pulling one of us will go and lay another line and spray the rest of the house and move the furniture..

Coop, electric sprayer, brother... with a good Flojet pump .
with 06 flow tip will put out just under 1 gal pr minute ..right around 1 gal in 70 seconds last time i bucket tested a Multi-Sprayer
That's not far behind a HF running @ 450psi

stopping a wand in mid production for something like pre-spray, is dUmm

Unless you can run two solution lines.

i hear you, Keith ..but isn't there enough trip hazards and hoses to unroll and wrap up already??...without adding another to the mess...when a good elect sprayer is more efficient and less hassle that managing another 100ft of sol line??

I have one guy sweep then spray while other runs hose and extracts, I use a solution line T so one can ps while the other extracts, works well on large commercial jobs.
