Replacing belts and trying to figure out how the heck to remove and replace the pump belt. There is nothing to relieve tension on this belt. Any tips?
Thanks

Guessing you have an aftermarket pump. Just unbolt it and tip it forward. Or peel it off a bit and turn the engine over.

Pics help.

They did not come with cats.

I have 2 crossfires. Both 4.2xl powered by Hondas.

One has original pump brand. The other a cat.

On the pump you need the belt snug, but not tight. Not a lot of drag on a pump.

If aligned right the pump belt will last years.

The big drive belt. If not aligned will last 10-100 hrs. Aligned 2-3 years. So use a straight edge across the pulleys to be sure that belt is straight. And at $60.00 plus a belt. Grainier is a good source of belts.

so you are running one belt on the blower? Ive seen some crossfires with 2 belts and some with one, both on the same model. On your waste tank what kind of filter do you have to catch the debris? There is no filter bag or frame to attach one to thats why I ask.
Thanks for the advice
