Does anyone know if hydro/inline filters are made of metal instead of plastic??? At least a few times per year I am having to replace the plastic parts on these filters. I was wondering if a company made them in aluminum and or stainless steel? If so where and how much? Thank you.

P.S. If no one makes them currently and I designed one would you guys buy them?

Mytee makes a nice rotomolded one that will hold up a lot better then the hydroforce's one.
Or you can look into the 4-2-door one called devistator?...

They are made from plastic so you can see the dirt and when it needs cleaned. Haven't heard of any complaints about the plastic ones. I just clean my tank filter 1/2 times a day. Only takes a few minutes. Check out Johns hot HX or Sapphires.
