Get the hydrofilter that's set up with cool cuffs out of the box. It's designed differently to accept the way Interlink has the cool cuffs set up and there is quite an improvement in airflow over the normal one.

Didn't Blueline or someone else come out with a nice filter? I wouldn't put the hydrofilter on my ass.

when this was handed to Interlink...( and I still don't really understand why)...All they did was have someone drill out the filter and put the adapters on and throw one of those P O S socks in it and jacked up the price..
Ever since I designed this....I have yet to here of an complaint about any that keep coming apart ..But if they did it was because whom ever was drilling them out did not take the time to make sure it was centered properly..there is some forgiveness with the 2 inch....but you almost have to be on the gnats ass with the 2.5
If you do get one from interlink...throw away the sock and get the stainless basket..
drill some 1/2 inch holes in the bottom....
and then line it with a knee high nylon.....
the holes at the bottom will pull the nylon and all the crap to the bottom and leave the sides of the filter clear.....
when it gets full...just open it up and replace the nylon and keep going...you don't have to scrub nothing out.
