I got a oreck vacuum for 5 bucks

I was driving past a yard sale and a oreck vacuum was sitting outside amongst the junk. I pulled over asked to plug it in, vacuum turned on but the brush wouldnt spin. I bought it as is for 5$. I got it home and all that was wrong was the belt slid off. Put the belt back on it worked great. I dont know how much it cost origanly but it was a steal of a deal

I bought a new one once and someone stole it frome the back of my van at a condo job. Driving home there was one in the trash by the side of the road that I needed to replace the motor on. The Lord will always provide.

The first thing i would do is...........

Take it all apart and clean it really well... Buy a new brush roll, watch how you put it in cause it has two settings... old and new.. Buy the enviricaire bags. they are cheap. I gave all of my restaurants one for free.. We pick them up once a month and clean them. Grease kills them... Great vacs
