My tax lady finally got them done. I can't figure it out but we made over 50k more last year and I am getting a small tax return!!

I don't know how she did it but we are happy. I have had to pay every year for the last 7 years!

Tax people always say: When you got to pay you made profits.

Now you see it.......But where?

I just finished doing my own taxes with TurboTax.

What a lesson in trying to tabulate minute details.

Did save paying a few more dollars at the expense of an hours work.

Oh well, filled out the check for the damage to mail in the morning.

I had a rich uncle who I watched write a check for over 250k for taxes.

He smiled and said " this is my favorite thing to do, it just means I made a hell of a lot of money"

You will learn how she did shortly after the federal agents come knocking. The IRS is always way behind in examining returns. By the time they get to yours, the tax lady will be on a beach in some Caribbeann country with no extradition treaty.

Simple fact. If you honestly show a profit, you pay tax. If you show a loss, you do not. If you paid quarterlys and overpaid, you will get money back. It's good to show a profit or why would you want to be in business.

As long as you have been in business Adam, I would expect you to show a profit. If not you should look for an honest accountant or it will catch up to you.

My CPA is honest, we signed our papers yesterday but the CPA did not have time to talk to us. She called today and my wife paid twice in the last quarter.

It still feels good not to have to pay, at least this time.

I got my refund for the first time in many years.

It was because I am officially below the poverty level income now.

As long as I made plenty money, I paid plenty in taxes.

I think I like this better.
