For four days straight the boy have had their choice of taking the Vortex or the Aerotech and they go with the V..


Less stressful to not worry about the AT getting it's first ding I suppose..


Fine by me, the V is running like a champ.

Just walk up a put a scratch on it, so they'll take it out. It needs to earn its keep, the V deserves a break.

This has me thinking, In general do you guys use up the old equipment 1st or make it 2nd choice to keep it alive longer?

I've been sending out the old stuff 1st unless the newer is better suited to the jobs that day.

We started using the PC 650 just to make sure and get some hours under her belt during the warranty time. 1,500 hours later it is my first choice to go out, and mainly performance is similar it 'd just the 650 is sooooo much quieter. During the recent extractions we took the V out more due to double waste tanks and the V is a beast! I will replace the blower silencing chamber (Mikey says Aero Techs replacement in considerably quiter)
