Hi,
I know now which truck I'm going to buy (unless something really bad comes up in the inspection) but there's all this other stuff I still have to get.
I heard that you get better results if you vaccuum before you clean. What are good durable vaccuum cleaners?Any recommendations?
Thanks

I keep a Sanitaire dirt Cup on board in both 12 and 16 inch as well as a POS Bissell for doing Olefin piles and edge work.

What Mikey meant to say is:
"I keep the Bissel onboard to pick up what the others leave behind, plus it has a hose for corners and edges, and only cost $59"

That too, but after MF it's been making some god awful noises.

All that fine dirt killed the motor.

Buy the Bissells in bulk at Costco or Wally mart

Hey Jeff,
I checked out your site for the green glides but I don't know enough about the business to even know what to look for. What should I get?I'll have an older Hydramaster CDS 4.8
I saw you have seconds and demos they seem to be a great deal.

I have a pile lifter, Host Liberator, Electrolux and a dirt devil breeze.
I love the Pile Lifter, but it is heavy and awkward in residential same with the Liberator
Electrolux in quiet and smooth
The Dirt Devil is loud but probably just as if not more effective than the Electrolux for only $500 less. I have the Dirt Devil Breeze on sale $47.00

You can get a Bissell Powerforce Bagless for 50 dollars at wal-mart. I have one, and it out-cleans all my other vacuums combined (old bissell powerforce bagged, sanitaire compact, dirt devil swivelglide)

buy the cheap Bissel Powerforce baggless

$49 bucks at Wal-Mart.

Don't bother buying the more expensive Bissel,
cause it won't vac any better or last any longer.

empty the dust cup often and blow out the filters regularly

Yo vEEgs, I walked in on the little genies working in an empty.
I saw Cody vaccing with the rat hole Bissel and noticed it was growling and seemed to have a fair amount of vibration going on.
That was 4 months ago.
It's still not dead and still growling and vibrating.
(and sucking like it always has)

Just my opinion but, your vac should have three qualities:

1. Wide cleaning path, say 15 inches. Time is money.

2. Should have on-board tools for edging.

3. Should NOT be something your custy sees when they are shopping at Costco. Set yourself apart.

Here's an example:

Please shoot me an email, I'm about 100 miles south of you.
