I have this "y" splitter.

I have noticed that the filters do not fill up evenly. One fills up much faster. This means the airflow is not distributed evenly.

Lemme guess - the filter that has the straight shot fills up quicker. This would make sense - the inertia of the particulates would tend to carry them straight through.

Much ado about nothing, only a 15 deg. difference in deflection. Much more resistance in a loop of hose.

There must be another factor.
