I got called to a trailer park today. I was greeted by a really nice lady who assured me that it was her son and his drunken buddies who were living like this. Heavy spotting (bong water?) and urine everywhere. She had been renting the place to him.

She was referred by a customer who spoke highly of the best carpet cleaning company in Iowa.

She noted "He warned me that you are a little more expensive".

We maintain a $150 minimum charge and she was prepped for this during scheduling by Mel. It was olefin berber and just this 1 smallish living room.

She took these pics during the rinse step. I had already presprayed with Flex and used my CRB to agitate prior to rinse.

She was floored.

As I was wrapping up, I realized that this job shows me we are heading in the direction I want.

No, I don't want to work in trailer parks more often.

I want to serve customers who are looking for a little more than they've experienced in the past, customers who don't look at the price as the biggest factor in choosing a cleaning company.

Looks good Russ. Most of my minimum charges are $150 as well. Close to home, I will still go out for $120 for a single room, usually portable work. Min charge for the truck is $150.00. It really makes you feel good when the customer appreciates the difference between you and run of the mill carpet cleaners.
